Navigating the sprawling demonic castle in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night often requires players to solve environmental puzzles and fulfill specific NPC requests. Among the various tasks scattered throughout Arvantville, the Identification quest sequence stands out as an essential progression milestone. Obtaining your Identification allows Miriam to access restricted transport systems and continue her journey deeper into the fortress.
How to Unlock the Identification Quest
To begin the process of obtaining your Identification card, you must first progress through the main story until reaching the Librarian OD in the Livre Ex Machina region. Speaking with OD reveals that passage on the demonic train requires official credentials that confirm your identity. Players must secure a Silver Bromide item from a chest after defeating the Dragon boss in the Tower of Twin Dragons.
Completing the Portrait and Obtaining Credentials
Once you acquire the Silver Bromide, take it to Dominique in the safety hub village of Arvantville. She will use the camera to take Miriam's picture, rewarding you with the prerequisite item needed for identification. Keeping up with daily gaming news often reveals classic progression shortcuts that keep players moving through action RPGs efficiently. Return to OD with the picture in hand, and he will forge the Identification required for train travel.
Key Quest Rewards and Story Progression
The primary reward for completing this key story quest is the Identification item itself. Presenting this pass at the train station allows Zangetsu to grant you access aboard the Bridge of Evil. Without completing this specific sequence of steps, story progression remains locked, preventing access to downstream castle environments.
Tips for Efficient Quest Completion
To save time during your playthrough, avoid backtracking to OD until you have fully defeated the Twin Dragons boss and looted the Silver Bromide. Make sure to speak directly with Dominique immediately after securing the chest contents. Following these steps in exact order guarantees a smooth transition straight to the train ride without unnecessary exploration delays.
